VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Practical Skills Development for Youth and Community Empowerment

Over the years, THCHF has consistently carried out various outreach programmes and support initiatives focused on:

  • Supporting vulnerable children with essential needs and welfare assistance
  • Providing relief and care support to widows and struggling families
  • Empowering young adults through vocational and skill acquisition programmes
  • Promoting self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods within underserved communities
  • In addition to our humanitarian activities, we established a vocational training centre dedicated to equipping young adults with practical, income-generating skills that can help them become financially independent and productive members of society. Some of the training programmes we currently offer include:
  • Fashion design
  • Wig and hair making
  • Adire making
  • Bag making
  • Music section
  • Data analysis
  • Other vocational and entrepreneurial skills
  • Through these initiatives, many young people who previously lacked opportunities have been empowered with employable skills and renewed hope for a better future. However, due to limited funding and increasing demand for our services, we are seeking financial partnership and grant support to help us.

  • Expand our outreach and welfare support programmes
  • Provide training materials and equipment for our vocational centre
  • Sponsor more vulnerable youths and widows for free skill acquisition programmes
  • Improve our training facilities and operational capacity
  • Reach more underserved communities in need of urgent intervention
